There was a time when many male ring other than a wedding ring was considered too feminine or tacky. This is why even today, the vast majority of male wedding bands are just a band with no gems, and very little, if any embellishment. However, a gents ring can make a statement in the subtlest of ways. It can say a lot about who you are and much more easily let others see what you care about.

Someone who is religious might choose an understated solid cross ring, or someone who enjoys something specific such as hunting, fishing, or golfing might wear a ring that reflects as much.

A ring with the last name monogram or the first initials of immediate family members may also be worn to truly show what you are about.
